Christmas Tree
Our Poem
What excitement on Christmas Eve as they decorate the tree,
And the Fairy is placed on high for everyone to see.
It's time for children to go to bed and sleep until Christmas Day
Sleigh bells are ringing, hooves gliding through crystal spray.
Wondrous dreams there are of times long gone by,
Where a mother found no shelter, no bed on which to lie.
But when her child was born the creatures gathered round.
They shared their stable with him, true love he surely found.
And then their dreams return to the room by their own fireside
To find beneath the tree their friends sitting side by side.
The fairy's magic wand brings harmony and peace.
Perhaps these hours so magical one day will never cease.
