Dolphins and Ponies

Our Poem

All shades of blue edged with white,
Glazed by sun or fading light,
A sea that clutches shifting sand,
Or tears at earth from crumbling land.

All shades of turquoise entrance us all,
Where dolphins dive and seagulls call.
White horses ride wild and free,
On breaking waves of racing sea.

All shades of grey as dark clouds form,
Stirred by winds before a storm.
A sea that gives a timeless roar,
White pounding cliffs around the shore.

These shades of blue, turquoise and grey
In tides that lap beach and bay,
Bring tranquil peace with rhythmic beat
In wind and rain or shimmering heat.
