Jonathan's Boat

£3.50

Our Poem

Holidays in Cornwall, boats, surfboards and fun.
Time to linger by the harbour, see the setting sun.
As the fishermen return, a boy can watch and wait,
Perhaps dream awhile, even stay up late.
First little boats, then bigger boats, then one that goes to sea
And then the one, the boot that sets him free.
He can sail across the ocean, visit foreign lands,
Sometimes single handed or race with many hands.
In mild or stormy weather what adventures to be had
From holidays in Cornwall when he was just a lad.
